The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned beachgoers and boaters along the Western Cape coastline to stay out of harm’s way on Saturday as gale-force winds are expected to batter the stretch between Cape Point and Cape Agulhas.
A Yellow Level 2 warning is in effect for damaging coastal winds in the morning, while the rest of the country settles into a typically cool autumn day with cold starts expected across the interior.
