The South African Weather Service has forecast partly cloudy and cool to warm conditions in multiple regions across the country, with isolated rain expected in some parts.

The weather in your region

Gauteng can expect partly cloudy and cool conditions, but it will be warm in the extreme north.

The expected UVB sunburn index is very high.

Partly cloudy and cool to cold temperatures are forecast in Mpumalanga, but it will be warm in the Lowveld. 

Limpopo will be partly cloudy and cool to warm.

Partly cloudy conditions are forecast in the west of the North West, with morning showers in the south-west. Otherwise, fine and cool to warm temperatures are expected.

The Free State will be partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers, except in the north-east.

Partly cloudy and cool to warm temperatures are forecast in the eastern parts of the Northern Cape, but it will be cold in the extreme south.

The western parts of the province can expect morning fog patches along the coast and adjacent interior.

Otherwise, partly cloudy and cool to cold temperatures are forecast, with isolated showers in the south-west.

It will become fine in the eastern parts from the afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be a light to moderate northerly to north-easterly, becoming a light to moderate southerly to south-westerly.

The Western Cape will have morning fog patches in the central and western parts. Otherwise, partly cloudy and cool to cold conditions are expected with isolated showers and thundershowers over the extreme south-eastern parts overnight.

It will become fine in places over the central and eastern parts from the afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be a moderate to fresh westerly to north-westerly becoming strong along the south-west coast from late afternoon.

The expected UVB sunburn index is low.

Partly cloudy and cool conditions are forecast in the western half of the Eastern Cape with isolated showers and thundershowers.

The wind along the coast will be light and variable east of Cape St Francis in the morning. Otherwise, a moderate to fresh south-westerly.

The eastern half of the province will be partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

The wind along the coast will be a light to moderate northerly in the early morning. Otherwise, a north-easterly wind is expected.

It will become a moderate to fresh south-westerly south of Mazeppa Bay from late morning.

KwaZulu-Natal will have morning fog patches over the north-eastern interior, otherwise fine and cool to warm temperatures are forecast.

It will become partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south-west.

The wind along the coast will be a light to moderate north-westerly, becoming moderate to fresh north-easterly from late morning, and strong in places at times.
