We went to ask a man in the mini store, who had all the camp needs, and pointed us out in the right direction to see the configuration. We did it, and I loved it. The camp is located in nature, surrounded by trees and shrubs, with a river nearby. There is even a parking lot close enough for people to estimate their cars right next to their tents. He felt cozy and peaceful.
While we were there, we saw a couple establishing their store, and my partner suggested that we check their website for more information, maybe we could return and camp here. I agreed; It seemed a great place. In addition, the rooms have heaters, lamps and everything that needs, although it is hot, is not too warm without a heater. They also provide kitchen utensils, plates, blankets, a toaster, a pot, a mini refrigerator, a waste and pillow container. There is even a fire area if you want to sit next to the fire at night, right in front of the structure.
The atmosphere was fair. Inside, there are small beds for camping, like those they had in the boarding school (haha, I will save you the memories). They also have running water in the bathrooms, a drinking water tap and a bathing area. I admit that I am not sure of being able to camp in winter, but if you like that, I am sure it would be great. For me, I think summer would be the best time to go.
Curious to get more information, I checked your website, and this is what I found: it's called Cobleland campAnd you can enjoy caravan options and camp. The site is located on the riverbank, just in Queen Elizabeth Forest.
After exploring the camp, we discovered that there are some additional advantages that really caught my attention. To start, they offer a pampering room, so that I can enjoy a little time in nature. There is also a laundry service if you need to refresh your clothes during your stay, along with towels and bedding, although these have an additional cost.
For barbecue lovers, you're in luck! They offer barbecue facilities, along with gas walks, and you can rent dishes and covered, again, for a small additional cost. They also provide electrical connections in many of the launches, so it can be maintained connected if necessary, but it is still a retreat from nature.
Drinking water is easily available in several parts of the park, with a filling station for motorhomes and tourists, along with waste elimination facilities. It is clear that they have thought about everything for your stay to be comfortable.
For children (and adults who love a little fun), there is a game area with swings, climbing bars and a small assault course. It is a great place to vent some steam if you are not busy relaxing by fire.
And yes, the dogs are welcome in Cobleland, as long as they are maintained with a short leadership and under control. Then, feel free to take your furry friends for adventure.
For those who need additional convenience, there are 24 hours to freezers where you can freeze your ice packages. In addition, the store in the place has everything you might need, from the basic camping team to barbecue supplies, snacks, drinks and even local information to help explore the area.
The bathroom facilities are modern, with two specially designed blocks that include laundry and drying services. It is worth mentioning that these facilities remain really clean, and make sure you have everything you need to feel comfortable while camping.
The Cobleland camp is beautifully located on the Forth River in Queen Isabel Forest Park, which is only 13 miles from Ben Lomond (remember when I shared our adventure there? That is the place!). The natural beauty of the park is impressive, and there is no shortage of outdoor activities to enjoy.
Now, if you are someone who prefers to sit and relax, do not worry, you can fully camp here and do nothing but enjoy the crepiting fire. But, for those who are ready for an adventure, there is much to do! From seasonal events such as Easter to Springwatch to detect wildlife such as otteries, mountains, vultures and red squirrels, something fun is always happening. In the summer, they have a large barbecue with products of local butchers, and in autumn, you can enjoy a bonfire with an exhibition of silent fireworks (so that their dogs do not get scared!). There is even an early trick event or treatment.
Be sure to consult your social networks and news pages to get updates about the next events too!
