I just saw Jewel Thief in Netflix. It is an adventure/action thriller of 2025 on types that steal jewelry and expensive items. An African prince has a rare and valuable jewel. This jewel was exhibited in an art museum in Mumbai. The main character is a guy who has had a fight with his family because he is a thief. He is cornered in this whole situation because these bad threaten to his father, who is a doctor.
This is how it begins: these villains come to their father and say they want to donate to their clinic. Look, his father directs a charity and only charges as 10 rupees to treat everyone, so they donate a lot of money. The dad is grateful, of course. But while the main bad boy continues with the father, the other guy who keeps him leads to the thief's brother outside. He tells him that the money they have just given to his father is dirty and that they will inform the father to the police if they do not find his brother, the thief.
Then, he had to go looking for his brother to prevent his father from getting into trouble. Now, this part of the film didn't sit well with me. If you are executing a charity, you will receive donations from a variety of sources, so the idea that someone informed the police about a single transaction seems quite absurd. In addition, it seems ridiculous threatening to inform someone after the money has given him. They could have easily informed the police that someone had sent to their beneficial organization a substantial amount of money from a suspicious account. He felt really weak and should have found a much better reason for him to get involved. I mean, the father could report the transaction himself and say that he has no idea where he came from, which did not.
Then, the second thing that bothered me: they finally manage to get on the same flight as the prince after putting himself with his private jet so he can't fly. They present something in the Prince's drink, and he has a serious pain. Then, they call a doctor who turns out to be one of the bad. This false doctor tells the aerial host that the prince has a medical emergency and that he needs to talk to the pilot. The aerial hostess, without hesitation, escort it directly to the pilot. This is how it works in real life. The pilots do not talk to random doctors. Doctors on a flight only talk to the hostesses, and the hostesses communicate with the pilots. It is a security thing; Not only do you pass to the cabin.
Honestly, I think this could have been a brilliant movie if they had thought a little more about the details. The images are excellent, and the performance is first category, but some really basic events were really wrong, and these were important parts of the story. I enjoyed seeing it in some way, but I was also quite disappointed. I still recommend trying it, but it is predictable. In general, he is an adventure/action thriller of 2025.
Summary of the film:
The film itself is about this thief teacher who assumes a mission to steal this legendary African diamond, the red sun. What begins as a carefully planned robbery quickly becomes a dangerous double crossing game and changing loyalties. The actor, Khan, plays Rean Roy, a well -known jewelry thief who has been working abroad after his father (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) repudiated him for his career. This rich art collector with criminal connections, Rajan (Jaideep Ahlawat), wants Red Sun Diamond and threatens Rehan's family to return home and help him with the robbery.
