Exclusive audio recording of Ana Knezevich before disappearing

(NewsNation) – Ana Maria Knezevich, resident of Florida, has been missing for 12 days after a trip to Madrid. The disappearance occurred the same night an unknown person was seen destroying surveillance cameras, further complicating the investigation into Knezevich’s disappearance.

Knezevich had traveled to Madrid to process her recent divorce and gather her thoughts. She wanted to travel on to Barcelona with a friend, but didn’t arrive at the planned train station. Concerns escalated when Spanish authorities searched her apartment and found no evidence of a robbery.

Adding to the mystery are text messages allegedly sent from Knezevich’s phone indicating that she had met someone after therapy and planned to visit his house. However, friends and family doubt the authenticity of these messages, citing inconsistencies in language and tone that suggest they were not written by Knezevich himself.

Voice messages received from NewsNation “CUOMOThe team offers insight into Knezevich’s behavior leading up to her disappearance.

In a message sent a week and a half earlier, it is meticulous and detailed, qualities inconsistent with someone’s sudden disappearance without notice.

“Hi good morning. I woke up, went to the gym and got the apartment ready. I’m going to buy some cleaning supplies now. I fixed my hair and my nails and I’m just on my way back. How are you? I miss you too. Bye,” she said.

Another message, believed to be from the day of her disappearance, shows her excitement about plans to view another apartment and travel to Barcelona with a friend.

“I saw an apartment that I love. Yes. Hopefully it will be mine. I’m on my way to see another one now. Everything is going great. I’m actually doing really well. I’m going to Barcelona with a friend on Monday. It’s just a day trip. She’s very excited about it,” she said.

Brandee Smith, a longtime friend of Knezevich and her estranged husband David, said Knezevich was a calm and intelligent person and claimed the alleged text messages did not fit her character. Smith, along with others close to Knezevich, insist that she had maintained communication with friends, which made her sudden silence highly unusual.

“It absolutely feels like a missing person investigation because she would have been messaging her boyfriends and girlfriends. That’s what women do. Women are messaging each other and telling each other what’s going on,” Smith said.

The fact that David Knezevich was not involved in the search caused a stir, with some wondering why he did not travel to Spain to help find his missing wife.

“I would certainly say that after all the history they spent together, he would go looking for her,” Smith said.

NewsNation’s Brian Entin reached out to Ana’s husband, but he has not responded. Family members assume that he is in Serbia.
