It’s been a while since I shared a style post. I’ve shared more health content this year, but it’s time to get back into the routine.
Saturday was a little busy with housework, but after doing a lot, I ate during the day and couldn’t sleep early at night, even though I was tired. A 10-minute repair was due and was scheduled for Sunday morning. Repairs were made and I began to prepare for the church service.
I was already dressed when my companion called my attention to the time and told me that before I reached the church the service would have gone far. He wasn’t happy, but he suggested that he finish dressing me appropriately, as if he were going to church, and then we sat in the living room and joined the online service.
I must say it was a powerful and amazing sermon from the man of God. He spoke about seizing opportunities, blessed the week, and said the final prayers. I felt like I was inside the church because I was so focused. After the sermon was over, we went outside and took pictures of our clothing. It was lovely and I enjoyed the Sunday.
This set has been in my box for a long time. Every time I use it, I plan to take photos, but it’s too cold or something comes up. The last time I visited my country, Nigeria, I made this dress. I got this material from my mom, who sells different types of materials. She recommended a good seamstress to me.
It’s a popular Nigerian style that I’ve seen American celebrities wearing recently. I saw Kylie Jenner wear this style on Instagram. She was great, designed by Acnestudios. This style originated from the Yoruba tribe, according to the knowledge I have about it so far. It’s a simple style for women, and when I was a little girl, my mom made one for me. I remember wearing that dress a lot.
This material is very beautiful and I hope to wear it at night one day. The stones it had added a lot of glamour. It’s a sheer lace, but I wore black underwear underneath to cover myself properly. Purple and gold lace are a great combination made with embroidery. This is a high quality material and can be used at weddings and events in general.
