Chopard Insofu Collection

In a dazzling fusion of nature's treasures, Chopard proudly presents the ISFU collection, an impressive masterpiece of Joaillerie Joaillerie that not only transcends the kingdom of luxury jewels, but also establishes a new standard in crafts and sustainability. With an approach to traceability, sustainability and innovative crafts, this extraordinary collection celebrates the natural beauty of Esmeraldas, while honoring Maison's lasting commitment to ethical luxury and exceptional art.

A vision of Chopard Bold: The Intersfu Emerald's Journey

The last creation follows a daring precedent established by the Garden of Kalahari collection of Maison, which was born from a 342 carat rough diamond. For the second time in its historical history, Chopard has ventured in the unknown with the ISFU collection, which does not work from a set of precious polished stones but of a raw and without cutting stone. This approach allows Maison to participate in a deeply significant association with those at the beginning of the supply chain, ensuring total traceability and preservation of the integrity of nature.

In 2022, the Visident and Artistic Director of Chopard, Caroline Scheufele, acquired an impressive 6,225 carats of the Kagem mine in Zambia. Nicknamed in the insects, which means “elephant” in Bemba, a wink to the trunk shape of the stone, the remarkable size and vivid color of the emerald immediately captured Scheufele's imagination. However, the true potential of the stone could only be revealed through the intricate cutting process, a delicate and uncertain trip full of challenges. Unlike diamonds, which can be meticulously evaluated for performance, emeralds reveal their true beauty only when they have a carefully form, a risk that Chopard embraced to honor the unique character of the gema.

After months of delicate deliberation, the skilled chopard gems cutters, transmitted from India, expected the emerald into 850 carats of extraordinary stones, each one a testimony of the remarkable precision of the artisans. The result is a collection that encapsulates both the bold creativity and the expert crafts that has made Chopard famous.

A captivating collection of Chopard: nature meets Art Deco

The first chapter of the Insofu collection debuted last year during the Oscar Week, with an elegant collar parurus, earrings and a ring, with the insignificant emeralds combined with vibrant and turquoise rubelites. This year, the brand presents a new chapter with 15 exquisite pieces: five pairs of earrings, four necklaces, three rings, a bracelet and a jewelry watch, each of the works of art that highlights a different facet from the character of the emerald.

In the heart of the collection is a surprising pendant in the form of an elephant, framed by radiant diamonds that form the fangs, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune. To add to that, this piece is suspended from a long chain interspersed with emeralds and diamonds, further evoking the greatness of nature in all its forms.

The collection is inspired by the fluid and organic lines of nature, with echoes of the structured elegance of Art Deco. From the daring and abbreviated bracelet to the imposing cocktail rings, the designs exud The Great Gatsby. In addition, the set includes a diamond chin adorned with an emerald of 2.5 carats, complemented by a second collar with an emerald of 15.53 carats and pink sapphires. Of course, fluidity is woven in the design with long necklaces that intertwine the emeralds, pearls and diamonds, harmonizing textures and colors.

A more prominent piece is a declaration bracelet, where a vertical motive of foliage with emerald studs is intertwined with tsavors and pearls. The juxtaposition of soft and rounded pearls against the sharp facets of the emeralds and tsavorses creates a dazzling interaction of textures, which embodies the union of the sea and the earth, the two great kingdoms of nature.

Traceability and sustainability: The future of luxury

As part of Chopard's continuous commitment with ethical luxury, Maison has implemented avant -garde technology to guarantee the traceability of insufficient collection. Working with the Gübelin Gem Lab, the brand has been a pioneer in the emerald paternity test of the origin test, which uses DNA -based nanoparticles to mark the gem, creating a permanent link to its origin. This allows the journey of the stone of the rough piece to that finished to trace the generations, safeguarding the authenticity and ethical supply of the gem.

Since 2018, Chopard has used 100% ethical gold in all its creations, and the ISFU collection further elevates this commitment, aligning with the unwavering dedication of the Maison to sustainability. Caroline Scheufele describes this collection as a testimony of Chopard's belief that true beauty arises from a genuine commitment to both crafts and society.

Return: a collaboration with the family of elephants

In a moving count to the name of Esmeralda, Chopard has been associated with the Elephant family, a charity organization dedicated to the protection of elephants and other endangered species. Chopard will donate a part of the profits of the ISFU collection to support the conservation efforts of the beneficial organization in Asia, where the human-elephant conflict remains a growing concern. Therefore, the collection not only celebrates the beauty of nature, but actively contributes to its preservation, which reinforces Chopard's dedication to sustainable luxury.

The Elephant family works on the field with experts to safeguard wildlife and encourage harmonious coexistence between local communities and animals. When supporting this cause, Chopard and Caroline Scheufele continue their passion for life for protecting the natural world.
