Abuja, Nigeria – Belcrest Schools has successfully concluded the maiden edition of its Scholarship Screening Exercise, held at the school’s Durumi 3 campus. The initiative attracted over 75 students from various schools across the community, offering them the opportunity to compete for tuition-based scholarships.

The program is fully funded by Belcrest Institute, USA, as part of its mission to expand access to quality education for children from all backgrounds.

Marking of examination papers is currently in progress, and final results will be published at the school upon completion. The scholarship covers tuition only and will be awarded strictly on merit.

Mrs. Joy Offor, President and CEO of Belcrest Schools, emphasized that the initiative reflects the school’s commitment to promoting educational equity and supporting academic excellence, regardless of a child’s background or circumstance.

“This initiative goes beyond academics . it’s our way of saying that every child in this community matters. We are investing in talent, in promise, and in a future that includes everyone. Education should never be a privilege reserved for a few.”she said.
