The Luxurious Marble Circus wows in every way – Prestige Digital

Over this past weekend, The Luxury Marble Circus welcomed over 8,000 glorious guests to a festival like no other.

Spread across over 75,000 square meters at Ground The Venue in Muldersdrift, there were magnificent moments that surprised and delight throughout, giving guests the opportunity to experience luxurious fun in a multitude of forms throughout the day.

With wonder, fantasy and high-end hospitality at its core, The Luxury Marble Circus, in a major collaboration with Investec, is unlike any festival before. Each and every detail was meticulously designed to offer an elevated experience. From the color treatment of the Pantry-inspired Tasting Station to the variety of outdoor seating options, from the theatrical food service to the way each partner brand owned a charming, individual space, and so much more.

“Usually at a festival there's something that stands out,” says Greg Walsh, owner of G&G Productions, one of the curators of The Luxury Marble Circus. “In this reimagined festival, every detail was considered to ensure the brand concept and experience was carried out at every touchpoint.”

That being said, we would be remiss not to highlight the incredible stage of the Luxurious Marble Circus which hosted a wide variety of local talent and performers from noon to midnight on Saturday and Sunday.

The Luxurious Marble Circus, a sensational spectacle to behold

Requiring over 600 hours of design time and seven full days to construct the exceptional three-story stage, The Luxury Marble stage was a sensational sight to behold. Filled with color and spectacle, the stage (a performance in itself) amplified the artists who played to crowds of ecstatic fans. Sound, lighting, pyrotechnics and projections were just some of the ways the stage came to life, combined with a host of performances from the likes of the Ndlovu Youth Choir, Zakes Bantwini, Major League DJz and even The Luxury. Circus Marching Band, left guests impressed for hours and hours of performances like no other.

Atypical of traditional festive food were the delicacies offered over the weekend. With David Higgs and The Marble Hospitality Group at the helm, guests enjoyed fun pizzas, prego's, sushi and more at the Pantry-inspired Tasting Station.

For those in the Royal Lounge, prawns, pasta and wood-fired meals were shared to spectacular Saint standards, with a menu crafted by Higgs and local artist and chef, J'Something, who not only left his mark on the kitchen but also in the spotlight with Mi Casa as well.

Culinary experiences like no other.

Guests in the Great Hall enjoyed an excellent dinner with a magnificent menu prepared by Higgs and special guest Reuben Riffel, while enjoying the lively festival atmosphere and views of the stage. Additionally, both the Royal Lounge and the Grand Dining Room were brought to life by decorator Anne Manne. “A fantastic feast is a perfect way to describe the dining experience of The Luxury Marble Circus,” says Gary Kyriacou, founder and partner of The Marble Hospitality Group, curators of the festival. “Feeding 4,000 people a day with good food is not an easy task. It was only through creative collaboration and having the best people on the ground that we were able to expand our offering into a festival environment, and it was incredible to see it all come to life.”

“Speaking of collaborations, a special mention must be given to the brand partners and talent who truly showed themselves in the most exquisite way,” says Adam Byars, joint CEO and partner at Grid Worldwide, curators of The Luxury Marble Circus. “When we designed the brand for The Luxury Marble Circus, we knew exactly what it should look, sound and feel like. “We intentionally pushed the boundaries of a reimagined festival, and every partner, collaborator and artist on stage went above and beyond.”

Sensational rooms like no other

From the moment the guests arrived, a series of sensational seasons awaited them. Each with their own brand experience that not only concerned individual brands but also the entire festival. Entertainment, seating, savoring the moments and all-out fun were on display in each and every area, from Windhoek World of Wonder at the Tasting Station, The Vista Veranda by Veuve Clicquot, Don Julio's dream design, the ability to experience the magnificence of Mercedes, particularly its Maybach sensory savoir-faire, and even the radiant and relaxed Chargify charging station.

The Uncaged Carousel, in collaboration with Schweppes, was central to the event and offered an elaborate Zioux-inspired exhibit, the Johnny Walker Express housed a train-like delight station, and the Savanna SpeakEasy thrilled guests with not one but two bars , live. performances and a raid on a built-in comic divination house.

“It's not every day that you get to be part of something bigger than anyone could have imagined,” says Itumeleng Merafe, Director of Private Bank South Africa, Investec, title sponsor of The Luxury Marble Circus. “The experience of the entire event was overwhelmingly out of the ordinary and we are looking forward to next year!”
